Q. When should
I check my mileage and when can I expect results?
It is a good idea to know your mileage before you
install your Magnoflow™. Mileage is the sum of total kilometres
driven, divided by the total fuel used in litres. (Or
use our calculator) Most people believe they are receiving better mileage
before the 3000km-stabilisation period. We suggest that you drive
3000km of normal driving before checking for improvement.
Back
Q. Can I install Magnoflow™
myself?
A. Yes, most people can install the Magnoflow™ themselves,
All you do is attach the two Magnoflow™s around the fuel supply line,
10 centimetres apart from each other with the cable fasteners. (supplied)
. The biggest challenge is often determining where the fuel
supply line is. If in doubt ask your local service repairer, he will
know.
Note: that the fuel injection engines have two fuel
lines running in parallel between the fuel tank and engine, a supply
line and a
return line, so make sure you install it on the SUPPLY LINE. (The Yellow Side of each Magnoflow™ is to face engine)
Back
Q. How do I tell which is the
fuel line direction?
A. Sometimes it is best to trace the fuel line coming
back from the petrol tank or coming from the fuel filter leading
to the engine compartment, or ask your service repairer.
Back
Q. Where
do I place the Magnoflow™?
A. Anywhere in the engine compartment, (where permissible)
leading to the carburetor or fuel injectors.
This will depend from car to car.
Back
Q. How long does it take to install
the Magnoflow™?
A. If the fuel line to the carburetor or the fuel
injectors is freely accessible; installing on the fuel line will take
normally less than 5 minutes.
Back
Q. Does Magnoflow™ work on any fuel line? A.
Magnoflow™ is powerful enough to penetrate fuel lines of non-magnetic
material such as rubber, plastic, stainless steel, and aluminium;
these fuel lines should be used.
Back
Q. Why should I have two pieces of the Magnoflow™
in my engine compartment?
A. Due
to the fact that there is a distance of 10cm between the two devices,
the first unit has to make a pre-treatment of the fuel and the
second will disperse the fuel in order to get the best possible
results. This will ensure a better mix between the fuel and air
particles, which leads to a better combustion.
Back
Q.Will my Magnoflow™ affect the factory warranty
on my vehicle?
A. NO, Since the Magnoflow™ is designed in a clamp-on
configuration, there are no modifications made to the fuel line.
Back
Q. How long will my Magnoflow™ last?
A. FOREVER, Your Magnoflow™ comes with a lifetime
power warranty since they are made with permanent magnets, which
never lose their power.
Back
Q. Can Magnoflow™ damage my engine
in anyway? A. Absolutely Not, The
Magnoflow™ is non-invasive. All it does is place a positive charge
in the fuel so the molecules combust more efficiently.
Back
Q. Is Magnoflow™ good for your car’s engine? A.
Yes, it is. Over time the Magnoflow™ will clean carbon and varnish
deposits
from the combustion chamber of the engine, resulting in better
power and performance.
Back
Q. Is Magnoflow™ patented?
A. Yes. The Magnoflow™ was developed through a
methodical, disciplined and extensive testing program. The key
elements of
the Magnoflow™’s patented application of magneto hydrodynamic
technology are a specific placement of each magnet within its santoprene
case. This unique angle of the Magnoflow™ is a specially designed
octagonal shape which causes one magnet half to act as a “transmitter” and
the other half to act as a “receiver”. This combination
results in a strong magnetic field, directed to the fuel flow,
which easily penetrates the fuel line. Although magnetism is a
basic physical principle and can not be patented, Magnoflow’s™ unique specific application of magnetic technology is patented.
Back
Q. Is there anything I need to do after installing
my Magnoflow™?
A. No, However, your Magnoflow™ was not designed
as a “Band–Aid”. If your vehicle is due for /
or in need of a tune-up, this should be done prior to installing
your Magnoflow™, also it would help to replace your air filter.
Back
Q. Will my Magnoflow™ cause any problems with the
computer in my vehicle?
A. NO, The computer is usually located inside
the vehicle and with the proper installation of the Magnoflow™,
there
is plenty of distance between your Magnoflow™ and the computer,
and therefore the computer in your car cannot be affected by the
presence of a magnet.
Back
Q. What is hydrocarbon?
A. It is the hydrogen and carbon content of the
fuel.
Back
Q. What are hydrocarbon chains /molecules?
Hydrocarbon are molecules that cluster and grow
causing molecules to be trapped from air during the combustion.
Back
Q. Why does it take up to 3000km for petrol and
up to 5000km for diesel engines to run in?
A.
This allows Magnoflow™ to do its job by removing the carbon/varnish
deposits. Remember it took thousands and thousands of kilometres
to build up these deposits in your engine.
Back
Q. How long will it take my Magnoflow™
to make a difference in my mileage?
A.
Generally the driver of the vehicle will notice a change in
the performance, ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. The mileage sometimes
may fluctuate during the stabilisation period (approximately
3000km for petrol engines) and (5000km for diesel engines).
It also depends on the size and type of engine, mode of driving,
whether city or highway, and weather conditions. Fuel savings
of up to 20% have been reported.
Back
Q. After installing the Magnoflow™ I noticed
a slight increase in fuel consumption. How can you explain
this?
A. This clearly shows that the Magnoflow™ is
doing its job, by burning off the local coal deposits in the
combustion area and the path to the combustion area, however
this consumption is only temporary and will finally level off
after the stabilisation is complete.
Back
Q. My vehicle knocks and pings. Will the Magnoflow™
keep my vehicle from knocking and pinging? A.
If you are currently having a problem with your vehicle knocking
and pinging, then your vehicle should be repaired before installing
your Magnoflow™. Your Magnoflow™ was not designed to repair vehicles.
Back
Q. Can I use my “on-board” computer
to compute my kilometres per litre?
A. No, unfortunately it will not be accurate.
Even those computers that you can “zero out” still
use a greater than total kilometres driven and total fuel which
skews the mileage. Drivers should manually record mileage based
on actual odometer reading and litres used at the petrol station.
Back
Q. Will it work on fuels other than petrol?
A.
Yes, it will work on diesel, but the percentage of improvement
will differ from one type to the other.
Back
Q. How does the Magnoflow™ clean the
engine?
Your
Engine builds up carbon/varnish deposits of incomplete combustion
(improper burning).
Molecules are isolated and are found in both petrol and diesel
fuel. As the molecules begin to cluster and grow, some molecules
become trapped during combustion, air is unable to reach the
trapped molecules and they do not burn completely. Instead
they are expelled into the atmosphere or retained as carbon/varnish
deposits inside your engine. As these molecules pass through
the Magnoflow™ it will break the cluster of molecules apart and
stir them up, which otherwise could not penetrate the molecules.
Magnoflow™ is now able to reach the individual molecules and complete
combustion takes place.
Back
Q. Where do I install Magnoflow™ on a diesel
engine?
A. Just before the injector pump.
Back
Q. Is the Magnoflow™ just a magnet?
A. No, it is not a regular magnet; it is a
MATCHED PAIR of tuned custom sealed inductors that generate
a frequency resonance between its two faces.
Back
Q. Is it true that Magnoflow™ increases engine
performance?
A. Yes Magnoflow™ increases engine performance
by 8% and it is important that the driver should not change
his/her driving habit, as the engine is more elastic, at the
same time the acceleration behaviour is better. But if you
keep using this surplus of power for faster starts, you will
have no saving.
Back
Q. What happens to fuel when I turn the motor
off?
A. Because the fracturing of hydrocarbon chains
occurs only when the fuel is passed through the Magnoflow™.
When the engine is turned off, the fracturing of hydrocarbon
chains stops and in matter of hours the condition of the fuel
returns to the more congested state. The phenomena of fracturing
the hydrocarbon chains only can be induced by the Magnoflow™.
Back
Q. Does the Magnoflow™ need special care, as
in the engine compartment there can be moisture?
A. NO. There is no special care needed, as
the casing is made from a very high resistant material and
the built in magnets can not rust due to their specific composition.
To clean the device simply use washing detergent, NO chemicals.
Back
Q. Can I use the Magnoflow™ in my new
car if I sell the old one?
A. YES. You simply have to disengage Magnoflow™
from your old vehicle and install it in your new vehicle with
a set of new cable fasteners.(extra cable fasteners are also
supplied ) So you will take with you all the benefits of the
Magnoflow™.
